PWF is tough and flexible. Scratch resistance is better than similar wood effect finishes based on laminate technology. Aluminium can be formed into tight radii even when coated in PWF.
PWF is unique to you. The techniques used ensure that the natural variation of wood is matched by PWF.
PWF is colour stable. Tested and passed Florida 5-year equivalent exposure means that unlike wood the colour specified will remain for years to come.
PWF can be applied to most metallic substrates including aluminium, galvanized steel, cast metals and stainless steel.
PWF can be applied to complex shapes. Office furniture, curved panels, 3-dimentional shapes, tubes, welded assemblies and internal faces can all be finished in PWF.
Properties
Powdertech Wood Finish (PWF) was developed over a 3-year period and launched in 2000 with a small range of colours. The focus of development was to create a product capable of performing in an external environment. The colour retention and adhesion properties of the finishes have been proved in independent tests and practical experience to be equivalent to a life to first maintenance in excess of 15-years.
